Chorizo King Prawns

I owe the next two recipes that are featured on the blog to the lovely Kelly who asked me to create some recipes with Chorizo in them, to which a lot of my other followers agreed!
Unfortunately I am unable to eat prawns as I am allergic, but even though I can't I know they are a match made in heaven!  My little sister was coming over to dinner this evening, so thought I would try this recipe on her and my Mum as they both love seafood and it went down very well.  Until the end and a fight for the last Prawn!!
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
Serves 2
You Will Need:1 Packet of Large King Prawns 180g ( I used Sainsbury's Taste the Difference)1 Shallot or Half a Red Onion Finely Diced1 Garlic Clove Minced3Chorizo Slices Chopped (you can use the sausage but would have to adjust the points)1/4 Jar of Tomato Passata1/2 Tsp of Smoked Paprika1 Tsp of Minced Jalepeno (can use more if you want a hotter taste) (I used Discovery pre cut and in water)Frylight/Calorie Controlled Oil SpraySalt & Pepper for SeasoningMethod:In a small frying pan sprayed with oil, saute the onion and garlic until softened and add the jalepenoAdd the chopped chorizo to the pan and lightly cook letting the juices out but still staying softTip in the prawns and let them take on the flavours and colours of the chorizo after a minute or two, sprinkle in the paprika and stirAdd the passata to the pan and simmer for 3-4 minutesServe with crusty bread and watch the smiles begin!
The whole of this recipe yields 5PP so you could have a main meal if desired!
